NDS Wifi Chat Demo + Source

This download is for the source and binary (executable) files of the NDS WiFi Chat demo.
Alx06
has released, what he calls, a simple WiFi chat application for the
NDS. This application will allow you to chat wirelessly to someone
across the nation! Although, this is just a proof of concept demo, it
still works if you want to try it out. If you do choose to try this
program out, you will have to have someone to chat with! You have to
obtain your friend's IP address in order for this program to work,
which some people do not tend to give out freely. You will also have to
have the correct WFC information on your NDS as well as your router's
port 8888 routed to the NDS. If you manage to get all of that, start up
the chat and enter the IP address of your friend and press enter. You
can now send messages back and forth, but it will only display the last
sent and received message. Alx06 does not plan on updating this chat
program to make it better, but he has released the source for those
that wish to continue on it. |

NDS Animal Crossing: Wild World Trainer v0.04
|
A new version of the trainer for Animal Crossing: Wild World for the
Nintendo DS is now available, v0.04. This trainer adds many commands to
Animal Crossing including Add Cash, Add Rare Items, Remove Strays,
Apple Seed, Remove Weeds and more, as well as now supporting the
Japanese version. Please read the included readme for full installation
insturctions.

our word is our bond. MAX Media Player 1.2, available now as a free
download, lets you play videos right out of the box without installing
MoonShell or other such third-party application on your MAX Media Dock
or 4GB HDD!
If you've already upgraded to MAX Media Player v.1.01, you can already
play MP3s without installing any third-party software. And now, with
Version 1.2, we’ve added support for D3V video playback too!
The new version of MAX Media Player interface is just as simple to use
as the old one. To play a video or audio file, use the browser to
navigate to where the file is stored on your Media Dock, and double-tap
the file. This automatically opens the Media Player software, with its
easy-to-use playback controls. And putting files onto your Media Dock
is just as simple as before too. Just connect the device to your PC
using the USB cable supplied, and drag and drop your MP3s and D3Vs into
the correct folders.
MAX DS Video Converter is really simple. Just open the application and
browse for the video file you would like to convert. Once you’ve
selected the file, click the ‘Encode’ button to begin encoding. MAX DS
Video Converter uses settings optimised for playback on your Media Dock
to transcode a wide range of source video types such as .avi, .mpg,
.mov and more. Now just drag and drop the completed D3V movie file to
your Media Dock and you’re ready to play it back on your DS.

If this tool reports that Clean ROM no-patch play is not supported, then the NDS Slot-1 device cant really directly play any NDS ROM's. The ROM's can not access the Card using their own native access routines, those some sort of ROM or firmware patching is taking place before the ROM's are actually started. |

NDS MoonShell v1.71
|
MoonShell, by Infantile Paralysiser, and all its iterations is a multimedia player for Nintendo DS
/ DS Lite consoles. It currently supports DPG video files, MP3/NSF
audio files, and viewing non-progressive JPG/Jpeg/BMP/PNG files. In
addition to this it also has support for text files with the .txt
extension.
MoonShell makes full use of the dual screens with full support for the touchscreen.
MoonShell also has a plug-in system that allows to compatible plug-ins
just by copying the plug-in files to the appropriate folder. The
program already comes with a few plug-ins preinstalled.
To those
who are familiar with MoonShell however, a few things you should know.
The version changes have been listed simply as "Changed default to
'24kHz 2x oversampling." While this may seem big for people who
actually need it, if you're happy with your older (i.e. version 1.6 was
where a lot of changes took place) version of MoonShine then no need to
upgrade to this newer version. You should note that version 1.6 was a
beta build, while this version (Moonshell v1.71) is not a beta.
If
you do decide to upgrade however, there is a note on Infantile
Paralysis' site saying that you should never use your old MoonShell
file with this update.
If you will be using a Super Card CF
/ SD / Micro SD / etc., Chism's firmware hack will have to be
installed. Note that any SD based memory card
will have to be formatted using Windows to use FAT (File Allocation
Table) 64 KB. The details on how to do that along with the full steps
for installation is in the readme file.
While it seems like a
lot of work to get this program setup, it's worth the trouble if you
plan on using your DS for more than just gaming. |

Ein vollwertiger IRC Client für den DS. Für wen, aus welchen Gründen auch immer, die Funktion in DSOrganize nicht ausreichend ist, der wird hier vortrefflich bedient. Die beiden Bildschirme werden sehr gut ausgenutzt, auf dem oberen sehen wir jeglichen Text und auf dem unteren befinden sich die Menüs, Channelliste usw. Es lassen sich jede Menge Dinge einstellen und in einer kleiner INI speichern. Verschiedene “Skins” können in Form von Zahlenkombinationen hier eingegeben werden, um den Look zu ändern. Insgesamt eine wirkliche tolle Software, die viel zu bieten hat. |

NDS LMP (Licks Media Player)

Der beste und gleichzeitig schönste MP3-Spieler für den DS, verwandelt diesen in einen Ipod! Sowohl optisch als auch funktionell, inklusive Clickwheel mit Stylus-Steuerung. Sowohl mp3, ogg und auch m3u-Playlists werden unterstützt, die neuste Version hat zusätzlich noch den Modus Shuffle (Random), dieser fehlt oben auf dem Bild. Obwohl erst eine frühe Beta, funktioniert die Software vortrefflich. Im Gegensatz zu DSOrganize oder Moonshell werden auch sehr große Dateien (über 150 MB) ohne Probleme abgespielt und auch spulen klappt reibungslos. Mit Start wird ein kleines Debug-Menü auf dem oberen Screen angezeigt. Mit Select wird in einen von zwei Hold-Modi gewechselt. Beim Zuklappen des DS spielt die Musik natürlich weiter, sobald ein Kopfhörer angeschlossen ist, werden die Lautsprecher abgeschaltet. Die Lautstärke die aus den kleinen Boxen töhnt ist wirklich erstaunlich. Wir sind auf die Features, die da noch kommen mögen, sehr gespannt! |

NDS Beup Live 0.3e
|
Ein MSN Messenger Client für den DS, der natürlich nicht alle Features der PC Version bietet. Aber was ihr hier bekommt, ist voll in Ordnung. Die Eingabe über den Touchscreen ist wie bei allen Anwendungen dieser Art nicht optimal, aber zusätzlich kann in das weiße Feld über der Tastatur auch gemalt oder geschrieben und an den Kontakt versendet werden. Also alles in allem für Chatsüchtige eine sehr gutes Programm. Auf der Homepage gibt es noch verschiedene Tastaturlayouts, Übersetzungen und Emoticons, aber Deutsch ist leider nicht dabei.

NDS Bliptracker v1.0b
|
DS homebrew developer Dan has just announced an update for bliptracker,
which now stands at version 1.0. For the readers wondering what this
application does, bliptracker is an NDS-based "drum machine, synth and
sequencer, intended for live performance," according to the readme.
Here're a rundown on version 1.0's improvements:
* v1.0b (public release)
o mild chorus effect on theramin
o new sample set + some demo songs
o fixes in file save dialog
o licensed under GPL, source available by request
* v1.0a
o expanded banks to six samples
o separate sample bank selection for sequencer and drum pad (check menus)
o better use of ds sound channels (theramin is a bit simpler)
o subtle panning on some instruments
o store more stuff in saved files
o internal cleanups (less use of stack)
For
the moment, bliptracker v1.0b has only been tested on the R4DS. Full

NDS DSLua v0.7
|
Attention, DS homebrew developers. We've just picked up word that the
DSLua team has updated their developer's kit once again, bringing the
application up to version 0.7. Among other tweaks mentioned in this
latest release is support for PAlib, and increased support for DLDI
patches:
* Keyboard functions added! Now DSLua can access PALib's internal keyboard functions!
* 3D functions added! 3D graphics are now possible!
* Support for unconverted BMP, JPG, and GIF images is now possible!
* For Slot-1 device users, you can now access an official Nintendo DS Rumble Pak with DSLua!
* DLDI support added in full! Patch with a DLDI of your choice!
* 16-bit backgrounds added!
* GBFS version fully removed -- emulator testing is now sadly impossible. PACK.BAT is no longer part of the package.
* The multiboot menu has been removed due to coding problems -- now
DSLua automatically starts /scripts/main.lua (currently is a new
multibooter).
That's all to report on this latest release - the
rest is up to the able and willing DS homebrew developers intent on
