The NME-360 v1.2 comes
with a small SMD part (coil). This coil is only required
for Hitachi 46/47/58/59 DJ drives.
Solder the coil with one side to the 5V point of the
chip and to the other side solder the wire which then
leads to the 5V point of the DVD drive. Hitachi 78 and
Samsung drives drives don't require the additional coil.

On the new DVD Boards the
Firmwarechip (SST) is covered with glue. Simply scratch
the glue off of pin A with a sharp knife and then solder
the respective wire to the pin.

You must set the NME-360
v1.2
to Samsung mode by shortening point B to GND. In the
picture above we used one side of the cap for GND. This
way you don't need to solder two wires to the GND point
of the chip.
